Regardless of whether your property is located in Gainesville, Ocala, The Villages, etc., the State of Florida has a specific 12-month rule that governs the relationship between licensed mold assessors and remediators to prevent a conflict of interest. A company or person who conducts a mold assessment on a property cannot also perform or offer to perform the remediation work on that same property for 12 months. The same rule applies in reverse to remediators.
