We are often asked which is worse: Slow Leaks or Fast Leaks?

Obviously, neither one is good, but based on experience, the damage caused by slow leaks is much more difficult for homeowners/business owners to:

  1. envision/imagine because on its face a slow leak appears relatively benign, and
  2. comprehend even when the damage becomes visible.

Additionally, a slow leak almost always results in two separate problems: (1) the water damage leads to (2) mold damage.  Any porous material that remains wet, particularly in Gainesville, Fl (or anywhere in Florida) is almost guaranteed to have mold.

This is one of those examples of a slow leak that spread to four different rooms: (1) Laundry Room, (2) Bedroom, (3) Kitchen & (4) Garage.

Now, the client needs: (1) an HVAC company to remove (and subsequently reinstall) the air handler in the garage for Puddles Restoration to remove the affected drywall behind the air handler, (2) new drywall installation, texture-match and paint all four rooms, and (3) new kitchen cabinets and countertop replacement.
